Today begins Día de los Muertos. What are your rituals or occasions when you remember loved ones you have lost?
I dont really have any rituals or occasions. The dead is gone but their with us always.
There is nothing we can do to bring them back so why dwell on it?
I just like to remember them in my own ways. On my own terms.
I really wish I could celebrate it like they really do. A parade, festival, the whole bit.
I've always had this fascination with death.
I guess its because its the one thing that no ones ever experienced.So no one really knows what its like. It's the world's biggest mystery.
I don't know why people say its creepy, or think oddly of me because I have such a fascination for it.
It's a part of life, ultimately we are all going to die some day, so why hide it, why be ashamed of it.
A given its normal to be afraid of it, but its not like its something you can avoid, when it comes, it comes.
People are so weird.
Ha its gonna be a Picture: Get us in the mood for Halloween by showing us your favorite scary scene or creepy costumes.
I used to love the movie E.T when I was a kid, I watched it as many times a day, as many times I could watch it.
But as I grew older, the character E.T started to scare me. I don't know why, I just think hes kind of creepy looking and he still is kind of creepy/scary looking to me even today, sometimes I watch the movie just for a thrill,
because it just ..freaks me out. I have this huge poster in my basement of E.T in a frame from when I was a little kid and as I grew older I used to think it would stare at me wherever I went lol.
Especially the one scene where they find him in the river and hes completely white. *shudders*
Another character that I used to watch obsessively and am now scared to death of
I used to LOVE this movie, seriously love. But now the character just...freaks me out I know its not real but it just..
scary thats all lol. The one scene in the beginning of the movie where he goes up to the avon lady when shes in the attic and holds out his scissors like hes going to kill her and says "Im not finished" is the scariest part in the movie.
I think im going to watch these movies for Halloween.. =D.
