One of those lazy days.
Where you just don't have anything to do.

I had such a good sleep last night.
But when I woke up, I felt like I did get a wink of sleep.
I hate that feeling.

I have the therapist at 3:00 today. Woopee.
In other good news though,
I got a call for an interview at a place I really wanted to work at!

 

It's called L.I.F.E Inc. and they are looking for 'Direct Support Staff;

basically my job would be to chaperone mentally disabled kids

to their jobs, take care of them at home, cook, clean, play games.

Just be there as a caretaker I guess.

It seems like a tough job, but its something I've always wanted to try.

Not only would the job be free flowing as in I won't have to worry about dress code or what color my hair is, but everyday will be something new.

Unlike my old job, it was just the same shit everyday. 

I know its going to be tough but its something I'm willing to go through just to say I experienced it,

who knows I may end up liking it. Not just that but the pay, is suppose to be pretty decent.

I'm kind of excited about going back to work, I know that might sound a little crazy but,
I miss having money, eating out, going places, buying things.

I can be a 'material girl' at times ;D.

 

This weight loss thing is tough.  

Temptation is pretty much everywhere I turn.

but if I take enough discipline I should get there.
I just have to have enough strength to resist temptation.

 

I'm trying the slim fast diet now. 

I went on the site, its basically this

Morning meal - Shake

Lunch Meal - Shake

Dinner Meal - Something they tell you to make

but don't have the recipe for.

That's really a lot of help -_-.

 

I've been looking at a lot of diets,

this Atkins one confuses me a little.
So.. I guess.. all you eat is meat?

and they crucify you if you eat an apple?

How does that work?

I asked Dan and he basically said that

eating all of that protein, puts your body into

an emergency state, where it will try to lose all the fat,

because your body isn't getting what it needs?

So, your basically playing with fire. 

I'd rather not have a heart attack trying to lose weight, thanks.

 

Then I saw advertisements for the 'Nutrisystem diet'
Which is basically a company that sends you meals,

which your suppose to have breakfast,lunch and dinner, snacks, shakes etc. 

They also contain a certain amount of calories to each thing you eat,

so its controlled.

I thought it was pretty cool till I saw what it looked like..

What you see to the right is suppose to be what looks like,

 

Meatloaf and mash potatoes. Its kind of making my stomach turn.

There is this girl on flickr who is on the diet and she takes pictures

of all the food shes gotten.

Not just that but the price seems a little not worth it.

$10 a day for 3 meals, that are that size.

It just seems a little iffy to me.

 

 

Enough about diets though. 
I decided to get on my creative side and make a little collage

in my room of all the pictures I've taken over the past 2 years. 
I have all these drawings on my walls of pictures people have done

on Elfwood etc. Various art sites, everyone always asks me If I drew them and I say no.
So at least if I put my pictures up and people ask me if I took them I can say yes =).

Not only that but my room needed a little redecorating anyway, I havn't redone it in years.

 

I was looking for a nail in my garage so I could put up this antique mirror I got at the flea market.

I shifted through some boxes too and low and behold I found my old Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles tape.

 That used to be one of my favorite shows when I was a kid.
I've been downloading some old episodes online

NOT the 2003 version, the 1987 version!

So I was happy when I found it, I plan on watching it a.s.a.p.

 

I'm thinking of bleaching the ends of my hair again.
I think it looks cute now cause of the short haircut,

half of my head isn't dyed now lol.

But I think the dye would be brighter if the bleach was brighter.

I just hope it doesn't turn my hair orange or just decide to break off. 

I need to find a better hair dye though, the red fades so easily.

Haha bought. I just got my money back from taxes.. so I saved half in the bank and the other half well.. =).

I love my mom, she comes home and complains 

about how I waste my money renting dvds.

Yet I know that she is going to watch them -_-

 

Can you believe that this cassette, that has nothing on it.

Costs $20. Rediculous but everywhere I went had it for the same price.
I had to buy a new one because the one I have now is screwed up

Whenever you move the piece that hooks up to the Ipod

you either cant hear it at all or you can out of one speaker.
It got really annoying, really fast.

 

Bought myself some 'Yum Yums' - Dane Cook.

Since there is really nothing to snack on in the house.

and thats about it.

Went out with Dan on Sunday.

We went out walking, everywhere.  
The past couple of days have been gorgeous out. 
So we've been lucky to hang out on at least

At asian stores you can probably find almost, anything in a can.

Mangosteens taste dellicious. Only the inside though.

The shell is way too hard to eat.

Drinks too, any fruit can be made into a drink.

 

They specialize especially in Picklization.

I dont understand why anyone would want to eat.

They are loved all over by Asians alike.
But Americans tend to dislike the taste.

and the smell resembling that of rotten eggs.

I havn't tried it myself but anything
